About Demolition
Had enough of the day? Need some escapism? Go blow up some stuff to relieve the stress but don't hurt anything or real. Place bombs in strategic places to cause maximum damage for high scores, choose from different bomb types and customisation. Almost everything in game can be blown up, it's just a matter of how you do it to get the points. Strategic placement is key, or create sequenced bomb explosions for arrays of destruction. The higher the damage the better for your score. Build your own objects / world to blow up too using the build system.
Collect random/different colour upgrades like (amongst many) large explode, health restore or many fragments to get more power.
Additional areas open up after reaching certain scores. Watch out for explosions, fires or fragments, they can damage your health.
Check the top and bottom status text bars in game for information on bombs and health.
Controls:
-W,A,S,D and mouse for movement.
-E to use build system (Left Mouse Button to place objects).
-R Toggle Object remove, Left Mouse to remove highlighted object
-SHIFT to sprint.
-Mouse Scroll wheel to cycle bombs/weapons.
-Right Mouse Button to place bombs, for timer bombs to start count press CTRL Key,
-Left ALT for slomo mode.
-C for Rewind mode (Note:If pressed you loose score slowly).
-ESCAPE Key for pause menu.
Choose between different game modes:
Normal - Free mode, no limits on time or objects.
Timed - 3 minutes to play, final score multiplier x4.
Block - Weapons only work on cubes, score multiplier x4.

Edit: The developer made some changes and my review is now no longer applicable. Specifically, the fonts and stuff work great on a 4K display now, and the window is resizeable like a normal one. Additionally, the FOV and mouse sensitivity are not just fixed by adjustable. Since these where the big things I ranted about, and they are fixed, I've removed my previous comments. I have also ticked the box 'received this product for free' since the developer kindly provided an additional key, after I returned the original for a refund, so that I could test the changes and comment on them. There are still some 'features' that are not optimal, but since the developer is open to suggestions and actually fixes things, I am changing my review from a don't recommend to recommended, but note that this game is very different to most and is probably an acquired taste.3 found this helpful
Игра "Demolition" – это взрывная смесь аркадного экшена и стратегического планирования разрушений. С первых минут она захватывает своей простотой и увлекательным геймплеем. Разнообразие уровней и целей не дает заскучать, а возможность выбирать разные типы взрывчатки и планировать детонацию, добавляет глубины. Визуально игра выглядит довольно приятно, хотя и не поражает ультрасовременной графикой. Физика разрушений реализована на достойном уровне, смотреть как здания рушатся под контролируемым взрывом - действительно завораживает. Тем не менее, игра не лишена недостатков. Иногда камера ведет себя непредсказуемо, усложняя точное позиционирование взрывчатки. Система улучшений могла бы быть продумана детальнее, и разнообразие заданий иногда кажется немного однообразным. В целом, "Demolition" – отличный выбор для тех, кто хочет расслабиться и получить удовольствие от зрелищных разрушений. Это казуальная игра, которая предлагает хороший баланс между вызовом и развлечением. Рекомендую!
I've only played the game a little bit, but I can say it's definitely a fun time if you just wanna go in and blow stuff up, the only 2 things I actually have to say is the fuse is a bit weird to work with and I think it'd be better if it was some sort of intangible line connecting 2 points, and that this game would be really fun on VR.
