About Disaster Band
Disaster Band is a rhythm game that will get you hooked . Easy to pick up with an intuitive control scheme, you can play freely with all the instruments included on any given track. Disaster Band, developed by PRODUKTIVKELLER Studios and published by Toplitz Productions alongside SunDust, is a rhythm game that deliberately shifts the genre’s focus away from technical perfection and toward shared fun, spontaneity, and musical chaos. Rather than positioning itself as a skill-heavy test of timing and precision, it embraces the idea that making mistakes can be just as entertaining as hitting every note perfectly, turning each session into something closer to a playful jam than a rigid performance. At its core, the gameplay follows a familiar rhythm-game structure, with notes scrolling across the screen that players must hit in time with the music. What immediately sets Disaster Band apart is the wide variety of instruments available, ranging from conventional orchestral choices like violin, cello, and trombone to deliberately absurd options such as kazoo, vocal effects, and novelty sounds. Each instrument contributes its own tone to the track, and the mix of serious and silly options reinforces the game’s lighthearted approach. The control scheme is simple and approachable, making it easy for newcomers to jump in without feeling intimidated by complex input patte…1 found this helpful
The game itself is pretty fun. I love the humor and the wide choice of instruments, but most of the fun relies on playing multiplayer. Sadly, it's nearly impossible to find people to play with unless you have friends who own the game and are willing to play. The game is still fun for the price and there are nice songs made by other players, but for completionnists, getting the multiplayer achievements might be extremely tedious...
El juego tiene buena pinta pero podrian agregar un modo para jugar con pantalla compartida en la misma PC o consola para divertirse con un amigo o pareja.
Eh. It wasnt awful but its not something I would play long term. The song selection is also small, giving it less play hours.
how did you create a multiplayer game, gave controller support and not add a local co-op feature is just beyond me.
