About Disgusting Puzzle 2
Disgusting Puzzle 2 is a puzzle game designed for persons over 18 years old. The game is very simple, you have to collect a picture, which consists of 20 elements. With successful assembly a button will appear with the transition to the next level. The game can be played without stopping, and you can also start with any level you choose. The game has a total of 20 levels. Management is entirely with the mouse, the right button you click and drag a fragment, clicking on the left button you rotate the fragment to the correct position. Provided to turn off the music in the game. If you're confused at a level and want to start it from the beginning, then press the refresh button and all the fragments will return to their places as at the beginning of the level. This was a tough call and would have preferred a "neutral" but since that is not possible, I am going with a negative because there are so many cons. After playing Disgusting Puzzle 2 I have removed the first game from my wishlist because this one was just too frustrating to be enjoyable. Pros: o beautifully creepy pix! Cons: o dark background makes it hard to see some pieces o no gallery to review completed pix (common issue with many picture puzzle games) o pieces do not snap together and do not snap onto the board when placed correctly o mouse control sux! (very touchy trying to get pieces in exactly the correct spot) o no easy way to find missing piece (see below) o NEXT LEVEL appears when placing the last piece even if it (or others?) are not placed and/or rotated correctly. o No Steam achievements or trading cards. I wasted a lot of time on the "shoes" puzzle trying to find a missing piece. After moving all the pieces I still could not find it. After completing the rest of the puzzles and the game congratulating me on completing all the puzzles I replayed the shoe puzzle and was able to finish it. (EDIT: This is the review I wrote for Disgusting Puzzle--the first game--and the same holds true for this game. Glad I bought both). I bought this game because the graphics looked cool and the price was so low. I'm glad I did! It's better than a jigsaw puzzle in my opinion. I like figuring out where to place the image squares--the controls are smooth so the images rotate easily. The graphics ARE cool--I like seeing the completed image before I move on. There is background music which isn't obnoxious (you can turn it off if you want). I normally don't play puzzle games like this but I am enjoying it! Fun little game.
