About Don't Remember
Horror made anew
Don't Remember aims to rethink how both players and developers approach horror games, and bring a new and fresh experience to the table. Immerse yourself in this dark and atmospheric environment with dynamic audio which adapts to the way you play and makes each playthrough slightly unique. Uncover the story of William, a once renowned alchemist, now lost to his own schizophrenic mind. Dig up the remnants of Williams forgotten past and the reason for his amnesia through the power of colors, which allow you to solve many puzzles scattered throughout this inconspicuously twisted mansion.
Features:
- Power of colors: A lightsource has been a staple in nearly all horror games, use it to your advantage! Find and unlock new colors to your lantern which allow you to explore the mansion further and progress the story in this semi-open, metroidvania-style mansion.
- Procedural experience: Experience procedurally generated events and scares in the game, making each gameplay feel just a little different.
- Tense narrative: Experience a thrilling story told through professional voice actors and award-winning writers

Not a bad little game. Original storyline nice graphics and decent sound. I do have a couple of tiny complaints though. The first one is the voices actors accents. I'm pretty sure Williams didn't even exist in the 1700's and if it did he would not be called Rosenberg or live in a mansion developing potions. Equally his wife seems somewhat confused where she is from I have no idea what her accent was, though it was a lot less obvious too. The acting was good though. The other one was the 'Use the Red light on the Shadow' prompt. I did several times it did nothing. Luckily they revive you at the same spot so I just ran away before it became a problem. Overall fun little game.1 found this helpful
Pretty simple story that you can guess basically right away, pretty meh 3/10
The game looks intriguing but I cannot play it- the lantern menu is completely bugged and doesn't work. It's unfortunate because I like the atmosphere and wish I could actually explore the house. I hope you're able to enact some bug fixes because I'd like to revisit this in the future when the issues are sorted out.
not bad at all, i enjoyed it. but would be nice for a little bit of direction of where to go.
"Don't Remember" is yet another Unity asset flipped first person horror adventure games. There's so many of these on Steam they all sort of blur together into a huge band of mediocrity. What do you do in the game? This asset flip takes place in a 1900's English Mansion asset, and you wander around until you get your jumpscare or whatever is going on here. The only notable thing about this one is the developer forgot to put a price tag on it, which sort of goes against the general goal of trying to fleece Steam gamers for other people's game assets, as most of these asset flips try to do. There's a gimmick about coloured clues in the game but it really doesn't help this train wreck along, although it should be noted at least some sincere effort seems to have gone into this... it still comes across as yet another Unity kitbash. It's no wonder it failed. The game graphics look better than you might expect, but that's just because it looks like some or all of them are "borrowed" from asset stores or wherever. Gamers can tell... and it comes across as insincere. There's also the old adage that those who lack the budget and talent to make their own game assets usually lack the b…
