Drewdler

"Drewdler" is another one of those "I can't believe it's not a mobile app" puzzle "platformers" on Steam... and like countless other amateur mobile apps, the purpose of this mobile-app-in-exile is you're given a setpiece level and you drop a "ball" into it, and the trick is you put your finger on your iPhone screen to "draw" additional level elements that the ball will bounce off or roll over to get to the target for the level. Heck, this might have done well on Google Play. Steam is not Google Play. And my gaming rig is not an iPhone. The game features really lacklustre 2D visuals (does the developer not know 3D graphics became mainstream in the mid-1990s?). Gamers don't spend thousands of dollars on gaming rigs and the latest 3D graphics cards to play 2D games. Even mobile phones and game consoles can do 3D graphics now. There's no excuse. On the matter of pricing and value for gamers, most "free" games on Steam aren't really free. There's often nasty mobile app cash shops, or content locked behind DLC, or donations being requested, or any other number of shady pricing schemes that could mislead gamers, but in this case I'm glad to say this really does appear to be a ful…

Nice and fun puzzle game. Not too taxing or rage inducing

I thought the game was fun, but I ran into a glitch at the end: The level map would not render the last 14-puzzle-block piece (The one in the center of the world). In short, in order to play the last 14 levels, you have to do them all in a row without turning the game off. Not knowing this, I played maybe 5 of them and turned it off, thinking "I'll finish it later" and then I realized I had to play the last level from the previous world to even start doing these levels again, which is where I stopped playing. 7/10, the physics can be a bit janky and unforgiving, and certain level layouts I believe you were intended to use do not function as well as the designer thought they would, so you have to Drewdle the entire path of the ball. (Unsmooth transitions, bad angles, not enough momentum to complete the level "as intended,") Also, the worst part: How unforgiving it is if you draw the line to where you believe it should be, but the background is slightly 3-Dimensional, so you actually drew it way too low. That is also frustrating AF, just keep the game 2D and ignore the imbecile with the "All games should be 3D" comments. Could be a 9/10 if ya polished it up! ABSOLUTELY worth ch…
