About Drone Wars
Our goal with drone wars is it to create a fun, simple, but unique and fair multiplayer experience.What you can expect from this game:
- Controlling the drone is simple and easy, so no flight training needed, just jump right in and have fun!
- No one-shot weapons. Under normal circumstances there are no one-shot weapons, so you always have the chance to put up a fight if you get attacked from behind.
The game currently supports 7 different game modes, but there will probably be more in the future.
- Drone: Team deathmatch
- Drones vs Humans: Team deathmatch
- Drones vs Humans: Wipeout - Survive as human until a rescue force arrives, or as a drone try to kill all the remaining humans before the timer runs out. Every dying human ends up as a drone.
- Drone: Arena - Last drone flying
- Drone: Deathmatch
- Drone: Capture Points - Capture and defend the capture-points
- Human: Team Deathmatch

Игра 'Drone Wars' – это увлекательная стратегия, сочетающая в себе элементы Tower Defense и RTS. Игроку предстоит строить и развивать свою базу, попутно отбиваясь от волн вражеских дронов и параллельно отправляя собственные войска в атаку. Геймплей довольно динамичный, требует быстрой реакции и стратегического мышления. Мне понравилось разнообразие дронов и апгрейдов, что позволяет создавать уникальные комбинации и тактики. Графика простенькая, но функциональная, всё понятно и читаемо. Звуковое сопровождение создает нужную атмосферу напряженности. Однако, игра не лишена недостатков. Иногда баланс кажется немного несправедливым, и некоторые этапы проходятся с большим трудом. Также, хотелось бы больше режимов игры и более развитую сюжетную линию. В целом, 'Drone Wars' – это добротная и затягивающая игра, способная увлечь на несколько часов. Рекомендую любителям жанра, особенно тем, кто ищет что-то новое и оригинальное. The game feels very much like a project in-progress. You start a local server with a .bat file (from outside of Steam) and then you connect to it to join the match. What's inside the match is basically nowhere close to any kind of actual drone physics. You're just a flying rotating turret. You move in 4 general directions, and one of the controller buttons seemed to be making you go "up", but I haven't found the button to go "down". You also shoot. Due to it's clunkiness it doesn't have any players. Seems much more work is needed for it to actually have a go at being "playable", let alone exciting. It is a game, yes. It's also free, so why not try it. Positive opinnion to encourage the dev.
