About Drops: Rhythm Garden

Drops is a gravity based musical instrument set in a serene environment and designed from the ground up for VR.

Drops was built to provide a way for those with little or no musical background or training to create rich and expressive polyphonic rhythms. At the same time, it offers sophisticated customization abilities to those who want to fine tune their work.

The initial release of Drops includes sets of shapes and sounds created in collaboration with noted electronic musician Patrick Russell and experimental composer Patrick Higgins.

There's also an overall control where you can change up the speed to everything easily. You can view creations that the dev has made to get inspiration to make your own creation. I suggest you do that first so that you get an idea of how you can vary the…

What fun this is! It's a music making app that uses the physics of falling stone balls over wood and other pieces to create the notes of a percussion rhythm. See the videos to understand. I'm uploading an example to my YouTube. https://youtu.be/G7DbBIosmf0 I hope they will make more sound sets!
