Groovy Labs is an open and cross-platform sandbox for rhythm games in Virtual and Mixed Reality (VR/XR).
Groovy Labs aims to become something more than Beat Saber though, by providing a platform for immersive experiences rather than being a single game. A platform for music and rhythm-based mini-games, powered by content created by us, the community of players.
One of the biggest selling points of Groovy Labs is the sheer number and variety of songs the players can choose from. There's tens of thousands of beatmaps (levels) created by Beat Saber community that we tap into.
Groovy Labs is highly customizable to cater to various players preferences. This includes the ability to choose the type of gameplay, an environment in which the game takes place, custom models of weapons and destructible objects and more.
The customizations described above are part of what makes Groovy Labs an extensible platform. The content that the community creates may even introduce novel gameplay mechanics that we haven't yet thought of. This approach is similar to other, highly popular and profitable platforms, like Fortnite, Minecraft or Roblox.

it is so bad. They say they have 100000 songs and they anly have 9 (the songs suck might i add). only buy this if you are so broke and down bad to get beat saber1 found this helpful
"Groovy Labs" is not really a game, it's a "sandbox" construction kit to allow people to make garbage quality ripoffs of "Beat Saber". Why? Nobody knows... this was an abject failure on Steam Direct. Nobody wanted this. It's a bad construction kit, and while it contains some game-like elements, this is trying to be RPG Maker but for crappy VR rhythm/QTE games. What value is this delivering to gamers? None. It looks like some of the included assets in the construction kit might be flipped. There's no evidence, but if there is plagiarism going on, that would be really bad. It's VR exclusive, and that shows the developer failed to understand the most basic axiom of VR game design... if the only cool thing about your product is VR support, your product is not cool. Now on to pricing and value for gamers. This is "free" enough (not every "free" game in the "free" section is truly free, there's usually some hidden price tag), at least you won't be expected to spend any more money after you download this, but just because something is free doesn't mean it's good, and the cost of a game is more than just financial, your time is valuable too. NO USER REVIEWS ??? realy game devs wow if you would put more in to the game it would be a good one . i tried to play the other day . is there some sort of run or time limit on it ? there is not thousands of songs in this game . there are lots of playlists all with the same songs in different orders . i had hoped this game would be worked on but so far it has only had one update before i got it . for a free game i guess there are worse games out there you could get . also ar does not work on the meta quest 3 same with several of the alternate targets like the fruits those dont even show up . there is also no way to quit a run early unlike many other knockoffs out there .

Cannot install custom maps -> pointless game. Achievement on it's own to make Beat Saber clone but even ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥
