I think the game is good and better than I thought. The game is early in development, but the developer makes a new update every or almost every week. The game is already fun, kind of weird the way upgrades work, but you get used to it. The game is similar to Nova Drift, but with a leveling and upgrading somewhat similar but different, a Twin-Stick Shooter movement and shooting mechanic, a Side-Scrolling Shooter way to make enemies appear, the white and black shooting and absorbing mechanics of Ikaruga, and bugs instead of spaceships. It's not as polished as Nova Drift (that game is hyper polished) yet, but polished enough to sincerely have fun. I think the game is worthy of his full price. Score: I will score it a 4 of 5 stars for now, until the game gets more polished, and more content is added. Conclusion: It's a game to have fun and pretty much a hidden gem.

Okay love this game. It's a chaotic mess and recruits feel like a mistake since they make it very hard to find your way around BUT it's my mess and I'll have it no other way.

Dualism is an abandoned, early access shoot 'em up wherein players play as a dragon fly that has to balance their yin and yang, or darkness and light, to defeat dozens of enemies that swiftly fill up the screen. Because it is a bullet hell game, you would expect basic quality-of-life mechanics, such as enemies being easily defined by an outline or a less distracting background, but none of these are implemented, as light enemies can easily glide across the edge of the screen, becoming nearly invisible and invincible, to reach the player, and the player cannot do the same without the necessary mutation. Also, you begin with a huge hitbox at the beginning of a run, and this becomes less than entertaining when enemies that can slow down players with webs or mess up their controls with special projectiles begin appearing in bulk, becoming an instant death sentence if players do not have a specific, strong healing or insect fodder build. The biggest selling point, from what I have gathered, is the variety of builds available to the player before a run begins. Due to the stated issues, once you have completed your first playthrough, anything else after that is a chore with little …
