Eggnog Incorporated

Since Papers Please became an indie hit, lots of similar games have tried to recreate its formula with varying success. Although Eggnog Incorporated doesn't have many reviews, it has a pretty high positive rating so far - so I was surprised by how much I disliked it. Papers Please managed to turn boring busywork into a tense, exciting gaming experience. This is because the stakes were high - you needed to pay attention and be quick to ensure you earned enough money to get medicine for your son. You wanted to work hard and get promoted to provide a better life for your family. You were confronted with moral dilemmas that could heavily impact somebody else's life or even the future of your entire country. Eggnog Incorporated has very little stakes. You live in a crappy apartment, so I guess the implication is that you want to get a nicer one. It's not remotely close to giving enough meaning to the boring, repetitive gameplay of reviewing hundreds of cartons of eggnog before they go out for sale. Easily falls under the "Like Papers Please but" category of games. A lot less serious and more comedy however, not surprising considering that it's *Egg Nog* you're looking over. I've gotten two endings so far, and will be attempting to find the rest soon. That part can be a bit tedious with limiting saving abilities, but whatever the case, I found this to be a short but fun ride.

got 3 endings sadly no cloud saves so I only have one badge in my save game is super based very fun, the voice acting is amazingly funny, and the jokes are so good. It's a lil rough in some ways, there are definitely better papers please themed games, but are any of them about your favorite holiday beverage? didn't think so. saw a review mention he didn't like how manual all the clicking and stuff was, but it's actually part of the charm for me. I love optimizing my clicks and the order of my actions (can thumbprint > turn key > turn knob > I already know all the art and colours so no need to check > insert floppy > dip stick and feed to robot > check ph > solve square puzzle > STICKER optimizing this and trying to do it as fast as possible is pretty awesome. I would love to see an endless mode tbh, where I just have to keep doing this as fast as I can and get time back every time I correctly sticker a nog, and just see how many nogs I can send through correctly. dev is super chill also, shoulda reviewed this game like 2 years ago but its very good.

Eggnog may be a treat you only enjoy once a year, but this game can be enjoyed all year long!

Eggnog! Eggnog everywhere! But not a drop to drink. In Eggnog Incorporated you play as a quality control employ that is made to do some questionable things by your CEO. This game is loads of fun.

A simple and satisfying game-play loop and a wonderful sense of humor make for an easy recommendation!
