Elevator Warp

One of the least fun anomaly games I've tried. Don't waste your time, there are better anomaly games you can play for the money.

While it's certainly not a horrible game, it isnt the best Anomaly game I've played. Some of the rooms are certainly easy but other rooms leave the player with a sense of "how tf was i supposed to solve this." Big ups to Warden and his guide to beat the game. It's not a long game and that's okay, but it is confusing. A solid 2.5/5

This game has an impact on me. Played it 5-6 months ago and it randomly came to mind again today. I really enjoyed playing it and it was such an interesting concept. I see the game has mixed reviews and it makes me kind of sad because its a good game. I think if you approach this game like any other anomaly game, thats how you get confused and "disappointed" I suppose. I wouldn't even call this an anomaly game. I'd consider it a puzzle game where you have to figure out clues and stuff that incorporate the anomaly games method of "Reach these many floors. If you're wrong, start over" There are a bunch of different floors and each floor is essentially a puzzle to solve. There is a number puzzle/clue for each floor (it will be a different number each time you run into this same room) The elevator will take you to random floors. If the elevator says youre on floor 4, you need to check the room you enter and figure out if the answer to the number puzzle/clue in the room is also 4. If the floor and the room puzzle is the same number, if they don't match, you go back to the elevator and hit the red ! button. You only have to make it 6 floors but figuring out how to solve all the floors …

My issue with this game is that the visuals actually gave me a headache, eye pain, and slight nausea. I can't say I've ever had this issue with a game before. The contrast might be too high, it's difficult to search for dark objects in the dark, or the problem might be that the art style/filter gives everything a flat 2D illustration feel, making navigation in 3D difficult to visually make sense of at times. The worst examples are the levels with the crystal cave, the maze, and the conference room. It was a fun short puzzle game and I wanted to finish it but I'm glad it's over.

Recommended 👍 This is a short, quirky game that feels like it could have come out of a game jam—brief but with some clever ideas that deliver a few satisfying “aha!” moments. It’s not particularly deep or long, but for the low price, it’s an enjoyable bite-sized experience. Perfect if you’re looking for a quick, interesting diversion rather than a full-length adventure.
