Hardly any game here. Assign workers to collect materials Summon undead to attack Prestige if you get enough kills Only works on higher resolution screens There is no challenge. I would say it's not bad. It doesn't require a lot of attention, so it's good to play in between other activities. The graphics look nice and consistent. Beginning is very slow, you really need quite a few hours to achieve anything. But after unlocking the second unit, game pace and fun increase a lot.4 found this helpful
Empire of Zombies is surprisingly addictive! The mechanics are super interesting and keep you engaged for hours. For this price, it’s an absolute steal. Highly recommended if you love idle games4 found this helpful
Game desperately needs a graphics or interface options menu so that resolution can be adjusted and it can be played on smaller screens. As stands cannot recommend.1 found this helpful
As of the moment of writing this, the game is completely unbalanced. It's *insanely* grindy. You get too few points per run, and the points make too little difference, for the time you're spending. It has some cool ideas, but they're executed in such a time-wasting manner that it negates any fun you would be having. It doesn't feel like the devs thought about the scaling, as the game starts off ok, but any rewards that would be meaningful for the first few levels, are entirely meaningless later on. By the time you get to realm 2, upgrades stop having any meaning, as you get like 1% difference from the previous level. This would be solved if the upgrades worked exponentially, but they don't, they're percent-based, or flat values. Also, there's a ton of manual activity where there doesn't have to be any. Generally in idle games, you're meant to do some tedious stuff manually, but after a while you unlock some automation and no longer have to do them. Well, at least up to realm 2, this isn't the case here. There are *some*, but they are either slow or costly, or auto-turn themselves off, so you can't leave the game running.
