About Endless Bounty

Follow an orc mercenary as he tracks down his next target. Drok'tar is no newbie to his work, but the bounty he's looking for can be elusive. He'll have to gather information from the townsfolk and hunt for clues in the surrounding area if he wants to rake in the gold from a job well done. Though, he might find more than just his bounty on his quest...

This is a point and click adventure where you lead Drok'tar through the town of Gabranth and its surrounding areas while looking for his bounty. You'll meet a slew of characters along with way, and if you play your cards right, you'll find yourself in more... erotic situations with some of them.

- Explore a colorful, pixelated environment with only a click of your mouse while on your search.
- Meet a fun cast of characters that populate the small village of Gabranth.
- Search for clues on how to find your target before you lose him.
- Bob around with the wonderfully-charming chiptune soundtrack.
- Maybe find romance in one of the five possible endings.
- 20+ Achievements!
- PET THE DOG!

Can you find your bounty? Will you lose out to someone else? Or will something more happen?

Estimated 2-4 hours of gameplay with good reasons to play through multiple times (you have to get all the endings, right?).

✦ AI summary

Players appreciate the game's story setup and character writing, particularly praising the premise of playing as an orc bounty hunter and the romantic options with male characters. However, most criticize the severe time pressure from a strict 7-day deadline, confusing world navigation with directional pixel screens, and obscure requirements for unlocking events and different endings, making multiple playthroughs frustrating and repetitive rather than enjoyable.

Premise This review reflects my personal experience with the game. While I aim to write thoughtfully and as fairly as possible, my reviews are subjective in nature and should not be used as objective metrics to assess/critique a game. I also curate a steam group which focusses on reviewing BL/Bara/MxM VNs. The story unfolds through your main character point of view and most of your time is spent moving between areas, speaking to characters, and completing small tasks that open up new interactions. Some of these are tied to specific conditions, so you will not see everything in one run (there is an excellent Steam guide that helps with achievements). Many encounters are self-contained. You meet someone, complete what is required, and simply move on. It fits the structure of the game, but it also means some characters feel like they could have been explored further. Decent but has some issues. You have around 7 days before the game executes the bad ending if you did not make any progress with the main story. Everything else is really just a romance, collect items, sell mushrooms and do tiny odd ball jobs for gold to buy items what help unlock romantic events with the other male characters. But if you pair that on what really is 6 days to get everything squared away so many parts are not enjoyable. Also no one told me you play as a orc, which is cool given the "Lumberjack" bounty hunter you play as. Problem with that is this is a large world which directional pixel screens and arrows and its super easy to get lost. The days do not last long and that really ruins the run as if you waste 1-3 days looking for event triggers which forward the story you are going to get softlocked out of the good or best ending if you do not pick up key items. If I had known that I might have not picked this up but the art style and themes are charming and nice. Also there is an issue where certain things for the top tier romance near the waterfall does not spawn so I do not know if there is a generational seed issue but I am not putting any more time in this…
