Cursed 2

Compared to the first game, there are massive improvements in sequel. Yet, more content dose not mean a good game. The problem with the game is that how everything is just so slow, time consuming and tedious. There are only two ways to heal in the game. One is drinking a green liquid and the other is using a mind healing spell. The spell requires mind energy which can take upto 2 to 3 minutes, and barely fills your health. The green liqiud can only be used once and then needs to be refilled for which you will have to go back to the starting area. Then there is the combat, which the first game did better. The dodge mechanic is a hit or miss. Enemies can seeminly spawn into any empty room. The game is set in an open world allowing you to travel at your leisure, which I think hurts the progression of the game. Like in my case, I entered an area where I got knocked out and thrown into a maze. To get out, you need to fight a zombie, which are considered mini bosses. I mean, I am at level 1, barely learning the ropes of combat and the game has already start throwing mini bosses. Honestly such great game, its beautiful in its own way, unlike any games i really played before, i love the series and i will always cherish the music used in it <3

Cursed 2 is the sequel to Cursed, made I believe about 10 years after the original. The first Cursed game was made in a week, being a charming point and click puzzle game with light combat elements that suffered from heavy jank and a low amount of polish or meaningful content. Cursed 2 inherits very little of this. Let me say this out of the gate. While Cursed 1 was a game I mostly recommended because it was so short and free that there's really no point in not recommending it, that is not why I am recommending Cursed 2. I am recommending Cursed 2 because I legitimately believe it is an incredibly good game. I would easily have paid $10 for this, even though that would be a very bad idea for the developer for at least one reason that will become clear later. So, let's take this one aspect at a time. To start, gameplay. Like Cursed, this is a Point and Click puzzle adventure game with real-time combat added onto it. The combat however has been completely overhauled. It now plays closer to Punch-Out, with the ability to directionally dodge and aim your attacks.
