Story Overview

[h1]9/10[/h1] [h1]Beautiful, stunning[/h1] A pretty great visual novel about empathy and regret, featuring breathtaking visuals that had no business going this hard. The premise is very original, and the story follows an episodic format while introducing twists to the formula that keep things engaging. It also features an overarching plot and central themes that are gradually hinted at throughout the chapters, all of which are wrapped up quite nicely by the end, giving greater meaning to the stories, characters, and themes introduced previously. [b]Negative points[/b] [list] [*]Even though the first chapter does a good job of establishing the dynamic of the story, I didn't find its story as compelling as the other chapters [*]It has dialogue choices, but the answers are pretty obvious in most cases, and the game also does a bit of handholding on top of that [*]It drags a little toward the end. BETTER THAN WHAT I EXPECTED!!! I thought this was going to be like a lot of other emotional visual novels out there, but I was wrong. The art and soundtrack really make it a masterpiece. Thank you, Mary, and goodbye...🥹

In this game's roughly 10-hour playtime, you converse with tragic characters and explore themes of loneliness and grief while uncovering a few mysteries along the way. It is emotionally heavy and features gorgeous mixed-media visuals and great sound design. Strong recommend for people looking for a story-driven experience. When it comes to what would be considered "interactive gameplay", it's barren even by Visual Novel standards (no branching story paths or puzzle minigames). So, like other Visual Novels, it is for fans of reading. The video trailer and demo are highly indicative of the game's appeal. If they speak to you, you'll love the game.
