About Escape The Museum
It’s a warm day in the city and Susan Anderson has brought her daughter Caitlin to work for the day at the National Museum of History. What began as an exciting day for Caitlin and Susan ends in devastating suspense when, just after closing, a 7.6 magnitude earthquake rocks the city. After getting Caitlin to safety Susan scours the museum for anyone left behind but is knocked unconscious by falling debris. When Susan awakes she finds the museum left in shambles. Barely able to move from room to room you must help Susan navigate and work her way through the maze of the museum in a series of puzzles and frantic searching. Can you help Susan get back to Caitlin and escape the museum together?

I tried. I really did. The story is fine. Artwork is fine. I like the "Escape the Room" thing. BUT...! And it's a MAJOR BUT! The items are ungodly hard to see or to find. Even if you have strong glasses? (Not that you should use them on this anyway...) You will *still* have severe trouble seeing an item that's not only teensie weensie... It's also blurry!!! The item may also be in the shadows of something else too... Making it 100x worse. >.>......... There is another thing too... Sometimes you have to click 3x or even more to actually get the item. Happens a lot. I find an item. It missclicks. I try to find the correct item... Only for it to be the one that I *already* clicked on... Clicked again. Wrong. Clicked once more and... Maybe you'll get it. It's... It's... Annoying. Save your eyesight and spare your nerves. Play a different game!!! (P.S. Also gave me a headache within an hour. Just... No.)2 found this helpful
If you are a stickler for nostalgia, this is fantastic and exactly how I remember it. This makes me very happy and feel warm and fuzzy inside. If not, I would 100% give this game a hard pass for several reasons. After awhile, it does get very annoying since it is extremely repetitive. Like the other reviews pointed out, this game is VERY buggy, and VERY blurry.2 found this helpful
This game was a blast. Picked it up on sale for only .79 cents. It was 100% worth it. Played with my girlfriend who played it as a kid, and was a great experience. You just have to look past the cheesy dialogue!1 found this helpful
Only get this game if you, like me, have immense childhood nostalgia for it and got it on sale for a dollar. Trust.
Great game I played when I was younger. I can understand peoples frustrations with everything being hard to see because of the resolution. The game is old... back then, the image quality in this game was pretty darn good. Also monitors back then were nothing like they are now. Had fond memories of this game back then and was able to make new memories playing it all over again. For sure recommend to anyone.
its a fun game. played it when I was a kid and am glad I got a chance to do it again
