About Mirror Mysteries
A young family stops at a mysterious old home for a picnic and as the mother closes her eyes to enjoy the sun, she hears a horrific crash, the kids! As she enters the house, she is confronted by a mystical mirror that’s taken her kids and locks them away in a magical world. A quest is placed upon you to not just save your children but help a unique character in very mystical places. Can you solve the Mirror Mysteries!

The Mirror Mysteries has fairly competent voice acting and it plays fine yet it’s let down by a short play length, some very dated graphics, a lack of story and some questionable places for hidden objects. This would prove to be one of the last games from The Easy Company, a company that tried to succeed on its own from Illusion Softworks but it didn’t quite work out that way. When the game was released the genre was beginning the peak of its popularity but it wasn’t enough to save the studio. Now that ended up being not so much a curse by a certain mirror but an irony.1 found this helpful
A very nice and pretty small game. The story is not really something new or special but the little sub stories and the worlds are pretty nice and well made. I really like this kind of HIO. Its like Mortimer Beckett, at least the first two parts of MB. A nice little game that can be played in about 2 hours. Its really nice. I can really recommend it1 found this helpful
The controls were a bit weird in that I swear some things couldn't be clicked on at first, Part of this is a game dynamic so I mean otherwise, like the clicks didn't take cheesy bit of fun, only a mildly annoying and enjoyable way to spend an afternoon
eye spy for hoarders
The idea that attractive women in video-games are somehow 'offensive to women' is insane. Hidden object games are targeted exclusively at women, & here you have the main character being a conventionally attractive white woman with blonde hair & blue eyes. She is not ugly, she does not look like a man, & she does not look like she has too many chromosomes. & yet action games presumably targeted primarily at young men have deliberately ugly female characters. /rant As for the game itself: - Nice art. - Very atmospheric. - Knows it's audience well & does a good job of pandering to it. - Despite being a fairly old game now, it still runs just fine without the need for any third party patches or downloads. - Made before ESG ruined everything.
