About Event-D
THE STORY
The first manned mission to colonize planet Mars is finally launched into space. But before reaching the destination, the mission ends in disturbing circumstances: The crew of the ship has disappeared without leaving any trace.
While the scientific community struggles to understand the inexplicable events, all other colonization missions are postponed indefinitely.
The Space Agency, desperate to find out what happened, decides to send a new mission to investigate the strange events.
The new crew, consisting of scientists, astronauts, and robots with the latest Artificial Intelligence, embarks on a journey into the unknown that will challenge their scientific beliefs and will reveal a previously unknown side of the Universe, forever changing the role of humanity in space.
The Conquest of Space doesn’t seem so achievable anymore…

It's not interactive at all, but it's one of the most pleasant sci-fi narratives I've experienced nonetheless. If you want to see what is basically a sci-fi CG comic, it's very much worthwhile in my opinion.5 found this helpful

Surprisingly good compared to most VNs on Steam. No vampires, ghosts, or awkward waifu romances, just a good old fashioned Star Trekian sci-fi adventure with likable characters and an impressive amount of original 3D artwork.1 found this helpful
I try not to expect too much from "kinetic novels" like Event-D. These stories can be amusing, but are rarely thought-provoking and usually forgettable. This one surprised me. It's actually solid science fiction! Not the best I've read, but certainly better than many hard copy novels I have suffered though. Event-D is not hard sci-fi, but not space opera either; it's somewhere in between. This story is worth a look. I enjoyed it while reading and it left me with a couple things to keep thinking about afterward.1 found this helpful
I find this to be a solid story with real entertainment value. Kudos for the art, too: it's not the usual approach, and it works, as far as I'm concerned. Clearly, the creator invested a serious amount of effort into creating this. I hope there will be a sequel, because there are some cool threads in this story that I would really like to see explored. In conclusion: SPAAAACE!1 found this helpful
Amazing story, good graphics, would love to see a sequel.
