There is no whodunit, no trick to unravel. The mystery is rooted in real astrophysics — orbital mechanics, spectral analysis, metallic hydrogen — all technically vetted by a JAXA-certified space venture, lending the fiction genuine credibility. This is a first-contact story at heart, and the common question of "why can ordinary protagonists solve what national experts cannot?" is deftly sidestepped by making the step-sister a Nobel-tier genius. The game is structured so that the act of decoding the cipher with your own hands lets you taste the intellectual curiosity of science fiction firsthand. The highlight is the interactive puzzle sections. Documents with underlined key phrases serve as clues, and information is naturally filtered through a two-stage process: the genius step-sister explains the hard science, then the everyman protagonist rephrases it for the player. Solid sci fi visual novel Good: + Some puzzle/detective elements (hint system is available) + Short and concise story without fluff + Good mystery with an uncommon theme Bad: - No voice acting - Art can be better (but this is kind of their style) Rating: 4/5 Dial soap bars

One of the best Sci-Fi genre VN out there. The characters, the puzzles, the mystery of the plot, and the thematic message of the work as a whole were all spectacular. After Ihanashi no Majo, I feel like Fragaria has polished themselves up even more to be a formidable VN developer. I will be counting the days until their next work comes out!

It is very satisfying to solve the mysteries. If you pay attention, you can answer all the questions the game asks you correctly.
