About EverWorld

EverWorld is a procedurally generated life sim with deeply simulated artificial intelligence.

- Randomised world - deeply detailed and uniquely generated for you
- NPCs with personality - NPCs that have goals, personality, opinions and memory - they make decisions and talk to each other about real things in the world
- Everything is a thing - if you can see it, it's real and you can interact with it
- Deep simulation - the world progresses whether the player engages or not
- Life simulation - NPCs actually go to work, actually do jobs and fulfil their own day to day wants and needs
- Free text dialogue - say anything to NPCs (current contextual understanding is limited but growing every update - they might not understand everything but they'll try!) - Dynamic quests - Daily quests plus NPCs will raise their own quest based on real wants and needs
- Dynamic crafting - Discover recipes and use any material with the right properties to craft items
- No loading screens - Building interiors are no different from the world outside

My expectations for this "game" were extremely low. More than anything I bought it to see how well the features it claimed to have had been implemented. The "economy", the AI implementation, specifically the chat features, and lastly, the procedural world generation. I saw the game trailers, and art, and even looked up the devs website, all red flags, but all ignored anyway. The dev website is barren, with 3 links to other games. One an app on Google play, another a free game on itch, and lastly this game, all on a white background. And yet, somehow I still expected this game to be playable. Well, its not. Again, my expectations were low, ridiculously low. But I'm still really disappointed. This felt like a free template you'd install along side Unity, or Unreal, just to test the engine, not a game. The other reviews feel so fake now, because there ARE NO FEATURES! You can hit people with a sword, they'll say ouch. You can't hit them with the other tools. They will not die, no matter how much you hit them. Their affection points seem pointless, as they'll drop if they are hit, but they'll go up if you just type anything in their presence, even nonsense. And ever other listed "op…

TheBad (the good is below): - conversation is biggest scam, its far from even considerably intelligent AI as is this game advertised. Eg ai understands hello whats your name, or do you know the player XXX? Or Hi, Hey. But they dont understand just merged two those sentences together. "Hi, whats your name?" It doesnt understand, it understands "Whats your name" and "Hi" only separately, it though wont understand "My name is XYZ" You cant discuss anything profound, existential or substantial or offtopic, as those seems to be a few precoded sentences templates like "What you are doing", "What are your hobbies", "Colors", "What you like" at best. They dont seem to understand stuff like "Do you like cakes" or anything. Its just feels very restrained unusable. And at this point I am not even interested in finding out more of it. Biggest disappointed wrapping something like that like cool conversations, while perhaps a big effort, its very misleading, in current age of games like verbal verdict, dreamio, suck up, ai people , snatched.yonder.gg or deathbyai.gg. "say anything to NPCs (they might not understand everything but they'll try!)" This is very bad, misleading , shady formulatio…

Game is seemingly abandoned by the developers. No updates since April 2025. The video clams "Deep AI" but the truth is, they only understand very few phrases and forget what they're talking about. Not to mention they say "I have to leave" as soon as you say hello, or ask them a question if you manage to get them to say hello back. They get stuck and require you to teleport them. Just overall not a great experience. If the rest of the game was broken and the chatting worked well, I would have given this game a thumbs up, but it is very difficult to warrant a buy for this game in its current state.

I would not this at the moment but with a open mind this game could eventualy work . But it looks like the Dev is working on it the updates look current and with some patients this game could really shine .

Very good graphics, random world, dynamic quests & crafting. I thought that the chat with NPC's is like the most other games but it's a free text mode where you actually chat with them! Keep in mind the game is on early stage so expect lots of updates and improvements over time. Support indie devs!

What was once thought abandoned has been given a breath of life so for that I will switch my rating from negative to positive. :) (Actual review pending)
