Express Car Wash Simulator: Legacy Prologue is one of those oddly relaxing simulator games that I found myself enjoying more than I expected. The basic idea is exactly what the name suggests, as I spend my time washing cars, earning money and trying to keep the customers happy. I liked how satisfying the actual washing feels, especially when a dirty vehicle slowly turns into something clean. The washing mechanics are simple and easy to understand. I can use different colored soaps and work through the car cleaning process without having to learn a complicated control scheme. I enjoyed the physical nature of the job because there is something surprisingly satisfying about seeing the dirt disappear and the finished vehicle come together. There is also a small management side to the experience. I earn money for the cars I clean and can welcome different customers, with vehicles ranging from smaller cars to larger vehicles. I liked that this gives the washing a little more purpose because I am not simply cleaning cars for the sake of it. There is a basic business loop underneath the relaxing work.
