This game is not prepared for early access, I'd give it a year or so before buying the game. There are almost no animations, no way to reload, countless bugs, very basic dino ai, and an ai generated voice that is often grammatically incorrect. The game has a ton of potential as all dino games do but this one is borderline unplayable in its current state. I don't think the game is bad but right now I wouldn't spend the $14 on it. Maybe if they lower it to 5 and add some polish, that would be a decent price for the early access. I'll be coming back in a few months to hopefully change this review

Extinct Forest could become the one we've all been waiting for if the developer(s) stay with it. Definitely rough around the edges, but it's also the first day of EA release. This game has a lot of upsides, an equal share of opportunities to meet as well. Dinosaurs are not the smartest right now, doorways seem a bit small (though it's nice to not feel like I'm three feet tall) and physics are a bit over the top, to name a few. These things and more will get worked out along the way, I'm sure. Controls are reprogrammable and there's plenty of visual options to run with. Game plays smooth, I have four guns in my inventory already and graphics, although a bit dull at times, are quite good to start. I've posted a number of screenshots for those who want to have a look. Anyone not comfortable with the understandable jank that comes with Early Access might want to keep their eye on it and let a few updates roll out before buying, but I, for one, am hoping this blossoms into a first-rate shooter.

So this game feels like TLWJP Trespasser to me. The gameplay, the aiming/holding, all brings back memories. Obviously this game is still in EA so future updates will rectify issues. I did find it funny that all it takes is an empty swimming pool to trap three Dilophosaurs, HAHAHAHA. I wish reloading would work but I'm guessing I haven't found ammo yet and/or there's a bug. Looking forward to the future of this game!
