FACE LOVE: Face Designer

FACE LOVE: Face Designer is one of the funniest character creation games I have played because it takes something completely normal and makes it absurd. I work at the FACE TEC factory, where I use bizarre facial parts to create new faces for customers based on their Love Profiles. I immediately liked the strange humor because the game knows that making ridiculous faces is the entire point. The main gameplay is built around choosing different eyes, mouths, noses and other parts to create a face that suits each customer. I enjoyed having to look at the personality information and decide what kind of face would fit them, even though there is plenty of room to make something completely ridiculous instead. The random selection of parts also means I have to improvise with what I am given. The creative freedom is probably the strongest part for me. I can resize and recolor parts, change body and head colors and experiment with different combinations. Once I have made a face I like, I can save it and return to it later. This game is quite cute. It's fairly basic, but I like the options. The mixed art styles are neat.

Such a fun short game! I loved making silly characters and listening to their food obsessions... My only complaint is that sometimes the items I needed took so long to reappear again. I wish there was a way to activate duplicates faster.

Really fun and makes me super nostalgic for the weird dress up games i played growing up. Definitely a must-play if you enjoy the LimboLane art style and sense of humor.
