About Fantastic Dream
A short story about ten minutes process.
——————————————————————————
I dreamed of a girl.
Meet, heart, hug, kiss, with her.
I can't remember her face, but still remember her temperature.
I want to see her again.
"It's just a man's fantasy."
I warned and laughed at myself.
But since that day, I've seen her in my dreams every day.
Is it that I'm so sick inside?
Or is there something affecting me that I don't know about?
I have no clue.
It's just that I'm starting to expect,
except to seeing her every day in dreams.

Fantastic Dream is not a game, it's an e-book that's been dumped on Steam masquerading as a game. As a visual/interactive novel, this doesn't feature any notable gameplay, it's just a lot of clicking through badly written dialogue that would never have been accepted or published in print, which poses the question, "How did something this badly written end up on Steam?". When someone hoping to become an author is unable to get published in print, they spend $100 and dump their high school fan-fiction onto Steam, under the guise of a game. This is a really weird, creepy e-book about the developer obsessing about his imaginary girlfriend... this Ren'Py kitbashed construction kit ebook is so cringey and creepy it makes me wonder if we can take out restraining orders against bad authors just to try make sure they don't inadvertently publish any more cringe. It's badly translated, too, that makes it even worse. I wonder what Google Translate thought about all this cringe. Visual novels/e-books are tedious at best... imagine the best novel you ever read, be that Hitchhikers Guide to the Galaxy or 2001: A Space Odyssey or Twilight (if you have terrible taste in literature), but then…2 found this helpful
A remarkable visual novel that explores the depths of human emotions and the power of dreams. It tugs at the heartstrings, leaving players with a lasting impression. While the pacing and the MC's actions at the end might raise some questions, the overall experience is an emotional and thought-provoking journey worth embarking on for fans of deep and immersive storytelling.1 found this helpful
Not recommended. This short kinetic novel tells a story with a bit of originality and a lot of emotion. It has pleasant backgrounds and nice music to go along with the story. Unfortunately, the English localization needs a lot of work. It made it hard for me to get invested as several sentences are poorly written. For that, this one is a skip.
Every good game great experience
It was a good game while it was short the story was nice and the music was a really good tone and beat for the story and the story was interesting and if your looking for a short game with a good story I think you should try this out and am defeintly excited for future games by this developer.
