A world where the Great Flood has forced humanity to live on artificial islands, and an intelligent system called ELYSION runs society. Pretty dystopian, right? That is, until you suddenly find yourself falling from a helicopter with a blonde stranger called DU, telling you to travel into dreams with them… and maybe falling in love will help too. The gameplay mainly centers on exploring the dreams you travel to, completing puzzles and fetch quests along the way. Exploring and interacting with the world rewards you with Dreams, which can then be used to purchase items. Every absurd thing that happens ends up making sense the more you play and I loved that you could choose the MC and DU's appearance, which makes it more personalised to me. (I chose FeMC and M!DU) The music was absolutely beautiful, really adding to the dreamlike atmosphere. Each world has its own tracks that fit its surroundings perfectly, with the different melodies coming together to create some genuinely memorable pieces. highly enjoyed it!! played it all in one sitting and it was super funn i missed a few achievements but the story was excellent!!!! downloaded for yaoi and stayed for the amazing commentary on society and humanity in a world powered by AI. recommend for ppl who want to obliterate AI data centers forever. #dontletbigdatawin

Yesterday I streamed Dream about yoU for 8 hours straight, surprising both myself and viewers how my voice did not get strained. I couldn't stop playing the game because I was too curious what would happen next, and it was definitely worth it. The world around NOISE is terrifyingly realistic to what could happen to us with the rise of AI, and I especially love the very last dilemma of choosing to stay in those artificial dreams or wake up to reality. I must say that, perhaps due to fatigue from playing the full game in one sitting, I don't fully understand the post-credit scene with the man in the wheelchair (is that NOISE's future self?), but I was blown away by the creativity of the overall game, and the shift to real life shots and cosplayers smashing the tv screens and taking a bow. Besides that, the art and music were also incredibly impactful, as well as the UI surrounding the game itself. I loved every aspect of it. Courage, love and hope will persevere!

Absolute banger. Ran smoothly (on my very old laptop, so definitely good on that front), story was engaging and I devoured it in basically one (fairly long) session.
