Fantastic Haven: Prologue

Shows promise. Big minus for lack of control of mages. Player should be able to send them to do reaserch and other tasks, not only on expeditions.

It is an absolute pain for controls on the Steam Deck, I don't agree with the Playable designation. Even on desktop, the controls feel overly complicated and annoying. I did not make it very far into the demo before abandoning because of the frustration with controls.

I am sure that this game has a lot of potential but the prologue didn't manage to excite me. The idea is cute but for the 25 minutes i played, there wasn't a lot to do and there was a lot of waiting involved instead.

This is one of the best games I’ve had the chance to experience for relax. Even though I’m not usually a fan of this kind of art style, here it fits the world’s atmosphere perfectly. The music is wonderfully chosen and really enhances the mood during gameplay. Exploring new areas and mechanics is incredibly fun, because you never know what the next discovery will bring. The only thing I’m unsure about is the limited space for expansion. If it stays as it is now, it might feel a bit too small. Despite that, the game offers plenty of interesting elements and a truly magical, fantastical world. I’d gladly play an expanded version, and I highly recommend it to others.
