FantasyDynasty: Le château DERETIC

on one hand, it's okay for beginner french. there isn't much going on dialog wise from what I played. not great for practicing french. on the other hand, the game is absolutely awful. it's not really an RPG game, it's more of a puzzle game really? you don't level up or get stronger, you press the attack button and it might hit the enemy, or you'll take damage. it seems like there might be a way to guarantee hits on enemies, but I'm not able to figure it out. timing nor direction seem to have consistent results, and you usually end up taking damage. it's probably better to just bum rush enemies and take hits while dealing damage, or just try to avoid all combat outside of bosses. you're probably going to die, you'll die a lot, and you won't feel like you're getting any better at the game, it just seems like pure luck. so, there's virtually no gear besides potions and various keys. you're not gonna be practicing any real vocab here for the most part, you'll just get frustrated and die. skip this game.
