Players appreciate the game's visual art style, but are largely disappointed by the experience overall. The main complaints center on poor writing quality, an unfinished feel with a very short runtime, and technical issues like defaulting to Korean language. While some note potential in the core concept and themes, most feel the game reads more like an unpolished interactive story or demo than a complete game worth recommending.
Short, quick and a bunch of non-sense in the story. Just skip it.3 found this helpful
FEEBLE is not a game, it's a Choose-Your-Own-Adventure e-book that's been dumped on Steam masquerading as a game. As a visual/interactive novel, this doesn't feature any notable gameplay, it's just a lot of clicking through badly written dialogue that would never have been accepted or published in print, which poses the question, "How did something this badly written end up on Steam?". To answer that question: When someone hoping to become an author is unable to get published in print, they spend $100 and dump their high school fan-fiction onto Steam, under the guise of a game. This E-book features Choose-Your-Own-Adventure elements where you make some decisions that don't do anything to change the fact this is just an E-Book. Nobody finished reading a Choose-Your-Own-Adventure book and said "Boy, what a great game I just played!". Because E-books aren't games. And neither is this. There's some custom artwork and a dark theme about death and the pandemic, but ultimately this is very poorly written, the translation is worse, and the value to gamers is negligible. Visual novels/e-books are tedious at best... imagine the best novel you ever read, be that Hitchhikers Guide to …1 found this helpful
Love the imagery, very sad that it is the length of a 15 min demo and there's not more. We got excited about playing it and what would come next. The description is too much of a spoiler as well. Had to use chat gpt to translate it to change settings to english as well.
I really liked the graphics, the game feels very short much like a demo, before you know it the games over, the begining of the game is not in english so pressing esc to get to the menu and changing the language right away is a must. You can run through the game twice picking the options you hadnt before for a slightly different game but not by much. Its a casual game kinda makes you think about whats going in the outside world.
Eh, wasn't anything special. Art was beautiful though. Honestly it could've explored the themes better :/
The game has a good storyline and with further development, there is a lot of potential. However, I would not recommend playing the game. When booted the game starts in Korean, and unlike the game description when you leave the house the game ends without venturing the supposed village. In simple terms the game is unfinished.
