Felt Tip Circus

6/10 A nice little showcase for VR, but there's a lot of them around, and this one isn't that special.

[u]I played this on the Oculus Rift with Touch Controllers.[/u] I had zero issues. The only odd thing was using trigger to grab items versus the grab button, but I've seen this mapping in other games. Despite the game description, I think you do need a bit more than standing room to play this game. I recommend a 3 sensor setup, roomscale setup. However, even a small playing space should work fine. There's not much content in this game unfortunately (4 mini-games). It's a lovely game otherwise. Very nice, charming atmosphere. Even the menus are pretty cool. You start out in a living room where you can change some game options. From there you open the door to backstage of your circus performance. You then choose which 3 acts to do and at what difficulty. Each of the acts are pretty fun to "perform" in front of your stick figure circus audience in the big top. There's just not much to do (I recommend starting easy, then normal, then hard just to prolong the content). Each act is completed very quickly. I finished a complete playthrough in under 10 minutes. Very cute game that my younger kids love. Some clever UI that's well suited for VR and a thoroughly pleasant experience, perfect for both young and old...

It is a game in which you are performers in a circus and you basically play mini games to impress the crowd. The game, as I write this review, is packaged with 4 games such as knife throwing or lion taming. You basically play until your time is up and there is extra rewards(revealed at the very end). As far as multiplayer works, you simply take turns similar to a hot seat game. The game looks very polished – from the menu to the actual circus room itself – Felt Tip Circus has a definitive look that really works. The audio and music also is what you would expect from a game of this type and fits in well. As far as the goods and bads – The amount of mini games that the game comes with works well but it definitely wouldn’t work too much for replay value. Fun game to play with buddies. Cute idea, being shrunk down but NEEDS A MOD COMMUNITY!
