Players find this a solid and addictive shop simulator with well-balanced economy mechanics and good decoration options, especially appreciating that it avoids tedious register management. However, common complaints include a limited and shallow gameplay loop once employees are hired, cramped shop floor design that prioritizes function over aesthetics, various bugs that can disrupt progress, and a slow tutorial with no mid-day saves that makes mistakes frustrating to correct.
This game is still missing quite a few features, and the worker AI can be buggy at times. I finished the game after reaching Day 80. By then, I had every figure fully stocked and two fully stocked display shelves for each one. Despite the bugs and missing features, I had a great time playing and I'm giving it a thumbs up. However, there are still several things that I think need to be improved: - There is almost no ambient sound. The only sounds are the door bell when customers enter and the cash register. Customers don't talk, and there are no footsteps or other background noises, which makes the shop feel lifeless. - There is no music. It would be great to unlock different music tracks for the store as upgrades. - There is no sprint toggle. I was sprinting almost 100% of the time because walking is simply too slow. Holding Shift for hours gets tiring. - Around Day 50, ending the day and the auto save process start taking longer and longer as your store and inventory grow. By Day 80, saving took around two minutes every day. - Once you unlock Epic figures and have every figure in stock, the workers can't keep up anymore. Four workers simply aren't enough. They become too slow to…1 found this helpful
Okay idea, but devs ignore their community. Currently, you are locked out of product production between certain hours, meaning you cannot stock your store if you do not move on to the next day and begin the day. The clock moves so quickly that it is difficult to finish printing tasks in time, meaning you are constantly playing catchup to get anywhere. As well, the forced tutorial is poorly made, interferes with gameplay, and can even softlock the game, preventing continued play until you can transition to the next day. The overall idea is cute, but the developer needs to pull their head(s) out of their ass(es), slow down the clock, remove restrictions on printing and allow the tutorial to be skipped. These are game breaking issues which need to be addressed before I will recommend this game.1 found this helpful
Overall, this game was pretty fun! I enjoyed watching each figure develop in different ways, as well as managing when each order rolled out depending the demand. I especially enjoyed the online system in which you had to balance multiple orders online along with in-store demands. The one of the biggest downsides to the game really, would be not being able to speed up the time for each upgradable piece of machinery. For instance the best laser printer is 25k and it only produces on epic sized figure at a time. It takes multiple in-game hours to complete, which makes sense for a more realistic standpoint, but considering how large each laser printer is and the time it takes, I would have preferred more than one figure, or an option to program each machine to a certain type of model if I liked. Another mild annoyance was not being able to but filaments in bulk. Sure each box has eight bits of filament in it, but when you wind up blowing through the filaments constantly, multiple clicks becomes a pain. Typing the number in, or drop down list of number would be a nice quality of life change.
Fun mind numbing game.
this has great potential, but it still needs a lot of work... i am hoping this gets some major updates.
Once you hire two employees it's just slow printing statues in a back room, no other activity to pass the time. Extremely shallow gameplay loop.
