Final War: Frozen Defense, developed and published by HaoPlay Limited, takes the familiar concept of tower defense and expands it into a much broader strategy experience. This game is mostly a waste of time. There are one of a couple aspects that are entertaining. The rest is required to advance your Castle/Troops/Heroe's. Will likely be deleting this game soon. Specially if it takes longer than 20 minutes to download updates. F'ng ridiculous.

For a free game this is soo fun!! Its cute! Its pausable, customizeable, really what more can you ask for for a free game! You can buy things in it, but your not forced, the levels are long but your playing the whole time.

Final War: Frozen Defense is a free strategy game that mixes tower defense with a much bigger world map and real time battles. I start by defending castles from waves of demons, but pretty quickly I am also dealing with territory, roads, resources, heroes and army management. I like the basic idea because it gives me more to think about than simply placing towers and watching enemies walk towards the base. The world map adds another layer where I can expand my territory and decide how I want to build around the areas I control. The tower defense itself is probably the part I enjoy most. I can place different towers and use heroes alongside them, while road cards let me control the route enemies take towards my castle. That is a genuinely useful idea because I can make enemies spend longer inside the range of my defenses instead of simply stacking towers wherever there is space. I also get to move and control heroes during battles, so there is a little more going on than just watching my towers do everything automatically.
