Good game, but its really easy to complete for no reason. Still fun to play for like 3 hours.

It's alright enough for a short incremental game. It more or less fulfills it purpose, but I wouldn't say that it is winning any awards anytime soon. It is enough for a positive review, but you can definitely tell a noticeable difference in quality across the board between this game and many of its peers in what is now a pretty competitive subgenre. The gameplay and progression is quite similar to Digseum in a lot of ways, with the main difference between them outside of general quality being the different minigame you play inbetween buying upgrades. The difference is more than big enough to justify it, but where the execution on said gameplay was near perfect in Digseum, its a bit less than perfect when it comes to this one. It is rough around the edges. Art, music, especially the early game progression, you probably won't find yourself having anything particularly special to say about it by the end. Despite that though, I wouldn't say that it was a bad experience playing through it. It did its job, and while the subgenre of the short incremental is ever growing, there is still a decent possibility you will eventually have played them all, or at least all the ones better than t…

So addictive! Starts out a bit slow and can be a little tedious for a bit, but then it really takes off. At one point it felt like bug rush hour with just tons of bugs everywhere. So much color and motion all over the screen. Having a cozy room to return to with trophies you can move (or toss) around is nice too. Gives it a cozy vibe. Honestly, if the devs made a DLC to add more content to the game, or even a sequel, I'd definitely play more!

I appreciate the vision of the game, but it's just not fun to play. Due to the nature of the game itself, actually catching bugs becomes worthless quickly. The fairies are 95% of the game progression and they aren't fun to catch. It has crashed multiple times. Edit: At the time of end-game, presumably because many more insects at once and more things to keep track in the background as well, it lags (my computer is very low-grade, mind you) and has crashed very many times.

It was definitely fun enough to deserve a thumbs up, especially since I got it on sale. The upgrades are pretty simple—nothing special, mostly just number boosts—and the pacing felt a bit uneven at times, though that might have been due to my own planning. The graphics are cute and fit the vibe well. My biggest issue was with the mushroom level. It kept crashing if I stayed there too long, which got annoying. Thankfully, all bugs can also be found in the final level, so I didn’t really need to go back. Once I had a good catch radius and regeneration rate, I could just alt-tab and let it grind in the background while doing other things. Even though people say there are lots of games like this, I actually haven’t found many that can be completed in 3–4 hours and still have a premise I enjoy. For what it is, this was a fun and satisfying little game.
