About Firelight Fantasy: Resistance
Firelight Fantasy: Resistance is a thrilling third-person sword fighting game. Step into the role of Hakon, a relentless treasure hunter on a quest to uncover ancient artifacts and amass untold riches. Engage in intense battles against formidable foes and carve your path to glory.

Space explosions have spawned shards called Artifacts of Light. They are not very big, but they have a lot of energy. This power is enough to destroy several planets. Collect all the fragments and use this energy as you want - for the benefit of civilizations or however you may desire. it's up to you!

The peculiarity is that the fragments reached the Earth at different intervals of time. How many such fragments, are still unknown, but it is assumed that most of
them reached the planet in the distant past. Different generations are trying to get these "gifts" from space, however, it’s never easy.

Enough talk, it's time to get down to business and begin the search! This time you have to make your way through forests and fields under snow cover. But it is not enough to walk the path, you also need to resist the same hunters, like you, who crave the same.
Warning: Asset Flip! Firelight Fantasy: Resistance is a Digital Homicide style asset flip, or what Valve calls a "Fake Game". The "developer" paid for/pirated a few Unity asset store assets, dumped them all in a blender, and submitted it to Valve as if they're real game developers.

Warning: AI Slop Marketing materials for this product were produced with soulless AI generated content. The developer violated the Valve requirement to warn gamers about any use of AI slop in a direct attempt to use AI slop for profit.
Two notable criteria for what makes an asset flip instead of legitimate use of stock assets are whether those assets comprise the majority of the game, and whether the "developer" properly credited the people who created most of the assets in the game. This game fails both of those tests. The "developers" here didn't credit any of the artists and real, actual game developers who created the assets here, so this is plagiarism, as well as cash grab shovelware. In this case, the asset flipper took a basic third person brawler …12 found this helpful
Honestly I got this game for free with another title and it still seems like i paid too much. If you want to know, how that happened read the paragraph below. The game itself feels like it was made with a lot of AI usage and either missing competence or money. Reminds me of those off-brand mobile games. So no, definitely not recommended I wanted to buy "We are the Dwarves" which cost about 3,19 alone but bundled with this slop I paid 2,79. So yeah, they want to get buyers and such lol but good thing you can remove a title from your steam library Skip it and play something that's worth your time!2 found this helpful

Firelight Fantasy: Resistance, developed by Quacky Games and published by Whale Rock Games, is a third-person action title that leans heavily into stylized melee combat while borrowing structural ideas from Souls-like design. Rather than presenting a vast interconnected world, it opts for a more contained, stage-based format where players progress through a sequence of combat-focused environments. The premise revolves around a hunt for powerful artifacts tied to a larger cosmic force, but this narrative thread remains mostly in the background, serving more as a thematic anchor than a fully developed story. Combat is the centerpiece of the experience, built around deliberate timing, spacing, and a steady rhythm of attack and defense. Encounters are designed to feel methodical, encouraging players to observe enemy patterns, commit carefully to strikes, and rely on dodges or defensive maneuvers to survive. There is a clear attempt to create weight in every action, with each swing and movement requiring a degree of intention. When the system works as intended, it can produce satisfying exchanges where patience and timing are rewarded. However, this sense of precision is not always con…1 found this helpful
This is a bad and almost comedically broken game that you should not spend money on. This developer has several asset flip games where you fight a single enemy a bajillion times with the same mechanics. This one is particularly busted because you're expected to defeat ridiculously large numbers of enemies with no way of doing it without exploiting the environment. There's also a stage where you must "protect a caravan" which can only be completed by standing on top of it for 120 seconds and doing nothing because there are too many enemies on the ground to engage without dying. When I beat level 3 I got the level 4 (Game calls it the "forth level") achievement, and when I beat level 4 I got no achievement. When I beat level 5 the game looped back to level 3 and will keep you in an endless cycle of hell where you never actually reach the sixth stage which is highly disturbing and depressing at the same time.1 found this helpful
