Sudeki

I remember first playing Sudeki when I got it free in a CD-Rom from a German games magazine. I didn't remember much about the game aside from the name, so when I saw it on Steam two decades later, I was excited to see if my nostalgia would hold true. After all, I remember the game being interesting, with somewhat unique combat and weird characters. Well, the game certainly is weird, but sadly my nostalgia was wrong. Aside from me having only played it for an hour or so back then apparently, the game just isn't good. There is a weird sort of crusty charm to it that might entice some people - it enticed me too, for 5 whole hours - but I'm just not willing to put more time in. The game's problems take quite some time to list, but in no particular order: [list] [*] The game mostly consists of running around with a group of 4 characters looking for crystals to help defend Illumina from an alien threat. In very obvious spots, there can be combat, which you can fight as any of the four characters. That's cool, but what's not cool is the combat itself. It's real time, with two melee and two ranged characters, but the melee characters are useless if you control them yourself because …

This game sat on my backlog forever, but I finally decided to give it a chance, and I'm sure glad I did! It has the right amount of challenge, a great story, and the gameplay was very enjoyable too. It's probably one of the most memorable games I've played for a while, and it is definitely a must-play classic! It's a party-based RPG where you can choose which character you want to control in battle, allowing you to switch characters freely on the fly. Your party consists of a swordsman, a nerd with a handgun, a beautiful woman with claw attacks, and a lovely spellcaster. I really enjoyed the characters! Overall, this is a rather short game in the sense that I did a completionist run in about 30 hours, but I found that length to be perfect. It gave me a lot of entertainment without overstaying its welcome.

Really surprised me, odd game have not played much like it, cool mix of fps and third person action game with some action turn based sort of gameplay. Very colorful and silly but the end sections of the game were pretty mediocre and a terrible final boss

Old but gold

Bought it because I saw it was from 2004 AND had a cover that was all cheeked up. This game feels really unique for the time. Like it reminds me of a souls game in how heavy based the combat feels but the best way to describe the combat is Star Ocean with freeflow combos.

How can I explain this game? Is bad but I love it.
