Fireside Feelings

I am very sorry to be "that guy", but these perfectly edited AI answers are killing the entire atmosphere. Even though I want to believe developers are not using AI prompts, the phrases are still smoothly edited, which eliminates the feeling I am talking to a real person. I want to see spelling errors, I want to see imperfection, I want to see people swearing and emotions because it's how people interact to each other. Instead, I have a feeling I am talking to a wall, and it makes no sense to extend my answers, as they will be changed to please a perfectionist developer. Made me comfortable to open up to my friends and allowed me to see life so differently. I love seeing how many people think just like me or offer a new perspective. I love that it forces you to really think.

This game is very nice, it looks super cute, the community is kind and empathetic... but I must leave a negative review as the game does not allow you to "take part in conversations between real people" like promised. It is not about 2 people talking to one another; rather, its about 2 people taking wholly independent and unconnected turns talking to a fire sprite. You cannot really talk to another human being, at max you can only read what they have to say to the sprite, but you cant reply directly to something they said. Maybe I should have done more research about the game. But my expectations were very much broken.

Cute characters, but there are other games in the genre on this platform that have an element of interactivity which keeps one coming back. The game begs the question: why didn't you develop a private journaling prompt tool?

Great game, Solid idea. I liked it. The idea of just, Throwing your thoughts down, And having a convo with someone in the past, Talking without judgement, It's comforting. It's also nice regarding the 100% anon path this took, Keeping players names hidden, and having our avatars being these fluffy fellas. Wish there was a bit more in the ways of customability, but it's still great to see. I also like the moderation side of it, letting other users assist with sorting content warnings and triggers. It should be mentioned, That while it's a great game, It gets repetative, With there currently being a limited number of topics and locations. Regardless it's a great way to just empty your mind out after a long week. I think it's very worth it, And would recommend it highly. 8/10

Writing prompts on various topics, framed as a conversation with a stranger, happening in near real time as you write. The stranger's convo is time-shifted from someone that played through earlier. It's really similar to kind words. No free form topics (at least, not as far into the game as I am, but the format really doesn't seem to support it), but the guided nature of the conversation and the open ended size of responses lead to a different sort of interaction. It can be good and thoughtful.
