Flappy Octane

Exquisite game from a perfectionist standpoint. From the beautiful graphics and music to the endearing gameplay. There is little to no faults. Just an absolutely breathtaking experience.

"Flappy Octane" is an unabashed, lazy ripoff of Flappy Bird (2013 Copyright now held by the Flappy Bird Foundation Group). Many lazy "amateur" developers don't pay attention to their obligations under copyright law, and often steal the ideas of actual, real game developers without credit, such as the "developer" here has done. Putting aside the unethical intellectual, creative and moral bankruptcy of stealing someone else's game concept, this is also breaking that unwritten law of stealing other people's game ideas... you should at least try to do better than the game you're ripping off. "Flappy Octane" is considerably worse than Flappy Bird. The game is really simple and unambitious in terms of implementation, more of a tech demo or one of those cases where an amateur developer spends $100 to publish something on Steam Direct to see if it's possible. Yes, obviously it's possible. A proof of concept, tech demo, or something that's less than a little blip on the radar isn't offering anything truly valuable to gamers. Amazing time killer and i can imagine its going to get very competitive with the leader board system, simple and accurate, no bugs, nice and easy to play, probably catch yourself playing it for ages trying to get top 10 on that leader board
