About Flashback

You will play as a deliveryman and encounter various characters and events. You need to make your own judgments and choices.
After that, your attributes will change according to the outcomes of your choices.

When your attributes drop to zero or go too high, you will meet a bad ending or something special.
The attributes will change slowly over time to prepare you for the incoming accidents.

For example, you can give up the current event and let another personality take your place to handle all the problems for you.
In this situation, the current event and changes to your attributes will be interrupted.

Quitting an event comes with a price. Your attributes will decline after giving up events but your level will rise instead.
Your level may play an essential role on certain occasions and determine the course of events.

On Day 30, something will happen and you may reach the end or go back to the first day.
Anyway, the fate of the characters depends on your choices.

By far the worst of Renka's games... It's really hard to get an ending, which by itself is fine, but there's so few events that by half an hour you've already seen all of them x10. Very repetitive, boring, and disappointing, not to mention how bad the translation is. Even for the low price, it's bad.

Flashback, developed and published by Renka, is a compact and thoughtful indie game that blends decision-based storytelling with light strategy elements, all wrapped in an atmospheric narrative about survival, responsibility, and consequence. The game places you in the role of a deliveryman living in a chaotic city where every day presents new challenges, moral choices, and unpredictable encounters. The premise seems simple at first glance, but its execution is layered and deliberately paced, inviting players to reflect on their decisions rather than rush through them. Each of your actions, from how you handle customers to how you balance your resources and emotions, shapes not only your personal journey but the lives of those around you. It’s a small-scale experience with big emotional weight, using minimal mechanics to explore themes of perseverance, identity, and the quiet struggles of daily existence. Structurally, Flashback unfolds over a fixed timeline of thirty in-game days. Every day introduces a new event or encounter that forces you to make a decision—sometimes practical, sometimes moral, and often ambiguous. Each choice affects a set of underlying attributes that repres…

It was amazing game to know the experience of 50/50 choice is able to gain and lose Reputation, Health, & Money feels like of my choice. The characters looks cool and cute, but the ending that really hits me on how it feels like to loop back from the dead or wake up from a coma or was still a dream to me. Overall, I love it.
