Players appreciate the game's lighthearted atmosphere, instant respawn system, and solid price-to-playtime value, with some finding the platforming mechanics surprisingly enjoyable once they engage with it. However, common complaints center on janky controls that feel imprecise during challenging sections, a design that doesn't always showcase its character effectively, and occasional frustration with difficulty spikes—though these issues don't necessarily ruin the experience for those approaching it as a casual, low-stakes platformer.
Wow, i enjoyed this game way more than i anticipated. The game has some serious jank to it, but with the infinitie and instant revives, and the lightheartet story and atmosphere it is rather a joy to spend time with. Came for the fanservice, stayed for the game. The only negative i have, is that the controls are frustrating for the precision parts, that you'll need to unlock everything. Not impossible, just frustrating. Price to time Ratio is good. And also there are boobs.1 found this helpful
A somewhat frustrating platformer with a lot less customization than Dark Siren (the previous project). The story is a bit better however. Do find it odd how depict it being a mature game, I found myself looking at my feet a lot of the time. It allows me to more easily jump, land and balance on many platforms. So I don't get to really pay attention to what little I see of the character, which should be the primary focus of this game. The majority of my fun was in the last stage, Hidden Path. Due to it being kind of like a bonus level, it didn't last long. I found it to be somewhat harder than normal stages, but a lot more interesting to move around in. As long as you are going into this knowing you aren't going to be impressed by anything, it's a okay "turn your brain off" type of game to have some hours of fun I think.
good game i like it
It has its moments, but it's just too janky to recommend.
Forest Of Relics is a compact 3D platforming adventure that focuses on fluid movement, environmental challenges, and a light narrative framed around exploration and ancient mystery. Developed and published by eTIRUe, the game casts the player as Ruby, a treasure hunter drawn to the legendary Forest of Relics, a place rumored to be filled with forgotten ruins, powerful artifacts, and dangerous trials left behind by an ancient civilization. Rather than presenting a large open world or a complex story, the game narrows its focus to delivering a concise, momentum-driven experience where traversal and timing take center stage. From the start, the gameplay emphasizes motion and spatial awareness. Players spend most of their time running, jumping, climbing, and gliding through obstacle-filled ruins designed to test precision and adaptability. Each area introduces new traps, hazards, and vertical layouts that require careful observation before committing to a path. The platforming is designed to feel responsive and approachable, encouraging experimentation while still punishing careless mistakes. Success often comes from learning enemy patterns, trap timings, and the most efficient routes…
