Formula Car Racing Simulator is a mobile app that's been dumped on Steam as if it was a real PC game (it's not)... it's a cash grab from greedy mobile devs. The game is an extremely dumbed down F1 racing minigame slapped together with a bunch of uncredited Unity Asset Store packs. In fact this is so badly done it still has the mobile app controls displaying on the screen! And since when do F1 cars have a NOS boost? I guess the "developers" forgot to take that out of the asset pack they ripped off. From a technical perspective, the game doesn't meet basic minimum requirements that most PC gamers expect as standard. There's no options to change the resolution for the game or customise the graphics settings. There's no way for gamers to ensure this is running at the native resolution of their displays... there's no guarantee this game will look right on any PC as a result of this hamfisted design decision. There's no way for gamers to try improve the low quality graphics. The controls can't be customised, which will be an annoyance for many, but it can also render the game unplayable for differently-abled gamers. Simple fun? I do not agree. The 90's want their game concept and mechanics back. Because right now is a era where everything 90's is wanted and good? No this game plays like an old racing game. Sadly enough racing games age pretty bad and this game is not even that old. It just plays, looks and feels like an old racing game. Graphics are decent, sound is boring, music annoying and the gameplay is mediocre at best. If i would have to rate this for what i have seen and played, then i would give this a 4,5 out of 10 points. NOT RECOMMENDED!

This game is dumb. It feels like it was made by one dude in an afternoon. Having said that, It's stupid fun. And for $0.99 why the heck not? I probably got a dollar's worth of fun out of it already. The name is hilariously grandiose for such a simple game that includes a mode where you can shoot the other cars or run them down as a police officer.

It's a very bare-bones and clunky budget racing game. It should have been designed with gamepad controls in mind instead of the keyboard. Thankfully, Steam does allow for button mapping on the gamepad. Visually it looks ok save for some glitches here and there. AI is rather Clumsy. Music can't decide whether it wants to sound retro or modern. Sound has an odd stereo effect when changing lanes. It tries to be an arcade racer and the controls are super basic. It has other modes similar to Chase HQ and Road Blasters, but they feel very tacked on. It had potential to be something fun, but fails in execution. It really feels unpolished and rushed. It's ok-ish, but there are better options elsewhere.

Bad even by arcade racer standards. Music and graphic elements copped from their other games. Buy Race Race Racer from the same devs instead. On the plus side I am magically now able to spell Emerson Fittipaldi's name correctly. Every. Single. Time.
