What Steam players say
Recent verbatim reviews from Steam — separate from playze.io community reviews below.
Players overwhelmingly criticize this asset-flipped platformer for severe technical issues, including broken physics, poor hitbox detection, unresponsive controls, and a non-functional Linux version, with some reporting game-breaking bugs that make it unplayable. One player found enjoyment in the core game design and aesthetics but noted critical compatibility problems like upside-down display on handheld devices that the developers have failed to fix despite the simple solution required.
Asset flip that doesn't actually work properly. I had come across a game breaking bug and that was that. And more recently, I have realised that this is an Asset flip. Here's another one that is using the same assets. https://store.steampowered.com/app/1525650/ There are more, I just can't find them now, but I've come across them. I received this as a win on Steamgifts, so I got it for free.10 found this helpful
Utterly unplayable crappy flipware with terrible physics and maybe the worst hitbox detection I've seen in a platformer. Don't waste your time/money on this.4 found this helpful
Don't bother with this game. Controls feel clunky. Collecting the last gem stops you for a little while but not your surroundings so you die when you are near something that moves. Linux version straight up does not start.1 found this helpful
utter trash, i got it free but still isnt worth it
The controls are really bad, the camera moves so that you can't really move without getting headaches. It's a bad mobile port. Don't buy this game.
The game: I love this game, it's decently challenging, rewarding with a simple set of achievements, cute sprites and good sound. I genuinely don't understand how you can not get your money's worth out of a game this good, at this low of a price. It's awesome.. however, Compatibility: The game opens up upside down with no way of adjusting the rotation. On handheld devices it's unplayable however it could very easily be fixed with only an hour's work from the developers. I hope care is shown and this fix will eventually be applied, even though the game is quite old now. Other than this issue, I love this title.
