Overall, I did enjoy this game. I did like the improvements made from the series before. I don't know how to explain it, however. I wish it was more. I think it could have been more. I don't know what is missing, but I am left with a frustration or desire for something additional. Thank you for making this game, and I look forward to any future plans with this title or others. 2.5 noodles out of the plate of spaghetti

A pretty adictive game! For old school gamers you'll notice the Cannon Fodder-esque feel to it, only this is a bit more advanced. You'll need to whip those recruits into shape, then leading them on missions that gradually gets harder the more you proceed. Upgrade your camp to get even better training and more gear for your soldiers. A great little game which gives alot of fun times!

Interesting idea, bad implementation. The training is okay, but there's not any contextual information for anything, leading to a ton of "figuring it out." The missions are terrible. Not enough supplies to even come close to clearing a map, stats don't seem to have any bearing on combat, ammo is stupidly limited, and it is impossible to complete the first mission with your first batch of recruits. Basically, the idea is you do the first stage then return to build up more troops. But nothing says you should do this, and the mission text even says returning will fail the mission. Call me crazy, but the missions should scale to the size of your troops. The recruit "traits" are another sore spot. They get negative traits that have to be removed. Not a bad idea, not even a bad implementation. They're just annoying and forces repeatedly training one stat for a recruit that they might not even need. The traits need balanced to weak stats so at least once the trait is removed, they have a stat on par with the other recruits or maybe slightly better. I wanted to like this game, and there are good things about it. But it really needs a LOT of polish.

it is a fun little game. It is not perfectly balanced or has endless replayability, but if you like games like game dev tycoon or maybe punch club, check it out. The Dev is also very positively responsive to feedback.

This Game is great! I Liked it all. I would suggest having a randomizer for the mission maps as the first mission is always in the same location and it would be nice to create your own mission with more than 5 platoon members as well as utilizing Bravo and Charlie when you have all 12 recruits plus the dec. vet. which is a nice touch. Also being able to name your camp and your drill sargent. As a Game Designer and a Gamer I noticed that there is no way of upgrading the PT area and the tasks that you can do there. as well as there should be more 'jobs' that reduce your stress. just in my opinion. To help replay ability, have more challenges to get achievements and maybe a sandbox mode where we can create our own camp. I would recommend this for anyone who likes military games and 'Full Metal Jacket'
