Futuclass Education

Futuclass Chemistry VR is an Early Access VR education game software that only has Paid DLC to buy. It worked on my HTC Vive and Index system, looked ok, played ok, sounded ok. There is a free Demo of Reaction Balancing that does Not teach anything useful about chemistry, that you can get in the classroom and reading any chemistry book. There is Five modules that you have to buy from the steam store so you can play them, 50 dollars worth. I only tried the free demo, which also has a Paid DLC version, i wonder how much more knowledge the devs packed into the Paid version. Update 22 August 2024 = Tried this on my new Win 11 gaming computer with Index. Worked ok. The devs have added some content, 2 more lessons that you can try then buy. Still no lessons that are completely Free to play. The 3 demo lessons were ok. Maybe try this overpriced teaching game for free but not sure if it is worth paying for the lessons.

I feel like the biggest downside to this otherwise great VR class is its pricing. I'm sure this could have sold much better to the casual player if the classes sold for 2.5$ a piece at most. This game is currently very relevant to me, as I am taking a chemistry class after summer with an exam in December. I have relatively short time to master all the basic fundamentals of chemistry, at least when combined with all my other classes running at the same time. So great teaching tools that quickly build muscle memory are valuable to me now, and I actually think, judging only from the small amount of available free content, that this is one of those really good tools when you are trying to learn and remember all these systems. This VR class is a beginners class fit for people who do not know much about chemistry. The exercises are both fun and useful, something that is hard to achieve. The price though, 7.5€ as the current set price per class is for me, is just too high when I would need all of them to really get something out of it. And while paying 85+€ for all of it might not seem like a lot when it comes to getting better at my classes, I can't throw that much money at it when I'm…

As a STEM educator for many years, I thought the Salts VR experiences was outstanding. This application would be an excellent addition to a STEM or Science classroom. The Salt experiences allows students to engage actively in a deeper understanding of how to build these types of ionic compounds. As the compounds come down the conveyor belt the user has just enough time to contemplate the cation and anion. Additionally, users must consider balancing charges. This is a fun and immersive way to review and reinforce theory. Students deserve something like this to kinesthetically work with learning material. Bravo to Futuclass.

I love it!!! This made me curious about VR technology and it has given me sooo much life. I hope we see some further development from this or other games inspired by this kind of approach to hands on safe chemisty science. <3 i know this game is two years now. but please come back to me if there is any chance you will further your work on this. Great concept, poor execution. - The Narrators voice is particularly annoying. Like unless this is made for 4 year olds, and even then. - The way the chemical reaction balancing was taught was super aggravating as I didn't see the point in repeating steps, and the way it was explained made no sense - The mapping is super horrible and the way the layout changes is irritating - Should have a standing option but be made primarily for sitting -Also instead of being fixed and having the desk snap around you, make a little space where you can move around and have smooth turning I love the concept though, but yeah as others have said it's a bit pricey for basic knowledge, but I guess it's the experience. Instead of shooting protons etc. would be fun to have a bin of them and pick them up and put together like legos
