About QuantumVR
Learn to solve quantum algorithms in a playful way with QuantumVR. The game is based on escape elements in virtual reality (VR). By placing simple quantum gates you solve small quantum algorithms to free animals. Immerse yourself in the virtual game world and advance from level to level. Whether you are a beginner or an advanced player, there is a suitable mode for everyone.

QuantumVR is one of literally thousands of student projects infesting Steam. It's from TU Braunschweig in Germany. While student projects tend to be better quality than most "amateur" made games, we must still question what value such projects have for gamers. As with all student projects, this isn't really a fully fleshed out game, it's just the result of an academic exercise, and as such it has much more limited value as a game than a professionally developed game would have. Educational institutions should not be using Steam as a dumping ground for homework assignments (especially if the students didn't even pass the course). Sure, it helps their marketing and helps the students feel good about themselves, but this is another case of a business putting themselves before the needs of gamers. This is a weird VR tech demo where you solve Quantum problems with Quantum games, and to paraphrase Feynman, "If you ever think you understand quantum theory, you don't." And in the spirit of that, I'd like to say "If you think you'll understand game development by creating a game about quantum physics, you won't." So basically you're in a lab and you have to save animals by solving q…2 found this helpful
brain hurty me no understand quantum algorythms
Very intriguing game! I've not played much of it but I'm already hooked! My only questions are 'What is the AI used for the voice?' and 'Are we able to adjust the volume of the voice itself?' I'm curious.
Good for beginners to intuitively understand quantum computing
fun little game, completed it all in one sitting - but for a free game, if you like physics you should check it out, very good visuals and explanations featuring cute animals
