fun game but a couple bugs

Gameday Mayhem!! is one of those games that I picked up expecting a simple football game and instead got something completely ridiculous. It takes American football and throws away most of the serious strategy in favor of running, tackling, chaos and even a rifle. I actually enjoyed how committed it is to being silly, because the whole thing feels more like a quick competitive brawl than a traditional sports game. The basic gameplay is incredibly easy to understand. I run around the field, grab the ball, try to reach the end zone and do whatever I can to stop the other player from doing the same. Tackling and dodging are the main parts of the action, and I liked how quickly a normal play can turn into complete chaos. The ball can change hands constantly, so I never feel completely safe even when I think I have control of the match. The biggest part of the experience is clearly playing against someone locally. I can use controllers or share a keyboard, and the game is built around having two people compete directly against each other. I think that works really well because matches are so quick that losing never feels like a huge commitment. I can immediately start another round an…

Amazing fun little game to pass time

Very fun and very free 1v1 gridiron tug-o-war. Blends up some of the best parts of nfl blitz and nidhogg adding just a [i] pinch [/i] of towerfall- all lovingly served in a tecmo Bowl. Controls are easy to learn and hard to master. Includes a mandatory DK mode which is appreciated. Remote play together works great with no issues. It's a free perpetual laughter and moment generator. Would gladly pay for a 4-8 player version. Try this game right now
