About GEO-DEUX
“Wake up, wake up! Can you hear me Geo-Duck? The moment of truth has arrived.”
You are but a lowly lizard summoned to greatness by celestial voices. Jesus has gone missing and only you can bring him back alive.
Lead a band of angels on a quest to find Jesus and save Christmas from hyper-secularization. Dress those angels up in the latest fashions, including but not limited to khakis, polo shirts, dreadlocks, hotpants, mohawks, and many more.
Collect many instruments along the way, each with a unique play style, and use them to dissemble inanimate objects through the power of sound. Never forget your cosmic origins! Walk the line between fantasy and reality in a world that really is out to get you.
GEO-DEUX is the long-awaited sequel to Geo-Duck, a 2d musical platformer from the pioneering glitch-hop duo Your Infamous Harp. Based to some extent on a true story, and featuring a lovable cast of characters that were personally trained, housed and fed by the developers.
“Are you feeling lonely? Are you tired or depressed? Come visit the CLINIC to get rid of your stress!”
Pay a visit to the CLINIC to dissolve your ego and resolve your existential angst - forever. Traverse a 6x6 grid of levels encompassing the entire visible universe and beyond. Described as “fun” by one tester, you just won’t not want to play!

However, reviews are deeply polarized—some find it bizarre or criticize it as another generic retro platformer, while others are disturbed by what appears to be heavy-handed religious messaging woven throughout the game.

"GEO-DEUX" is one of literally thousands of retro 2D platformers infesting Steam and lowering the average quality of all video games everywhere... and I'm not kidding. Searching for "platformers" on the Steam store page yields over 17,000 results! Is this one of the best of those? Absolutely not. This platformer, while obviously garbage at first glance, isn't really intended primarily to be a game, it's bible bashing Christian evangelism about reclaiming Christmas... which is in December because Christians stole Christmas from earlier festivals of Thule and Saturnalia, the Roman festival for the agriculture god, Saturn. But you know, let's re-write history for the bible bashers. Where did you think the tree, the burning log and all the holly come from? Not the bible. Don't say Steam reviews don't learn you nothing. Anyway this is a really crap platformer where you play like a lizard and you have to go do really badly done Flash tier platforming with bad music, to dress up some angels and make Saturnalia about Judeo-Christian religion again. The platforming genre is pretty much obsolete... just a tiny number of professionally developed platformers exist on PC and offer any…
When my family saw me playing Cookie Clicker, they thought THAT was weird! Now, they see me playing Geo-Deux and they are consulting hospital records and genealogy to make sure I belong in this house.
