You opened your eyes in a spaceship and found out that you are in an unfamiliar place. You tried to remember your arrival in this place but you can't remember clearly. Now you have chosen the only option you have left, Which is to escape from this so called planet Earth. Because your mind reminds you every time that you are very FARAWAY from your home.
Besides a simple but good physics and side scroll system, this game has a beautiful but yet dark environment where you are going to tackle obstacle, take right time and chance to move in this world where there is a chance of fall in every moment you move forward. And at last, you need to be a very patient person and do no harm to your PC in the possession of anger to complete this game. We hope you will enjoy this small piece of entertainment by XG games.

"Faraway" is a minimalist, basic ripoff of Atari's Lunar Lander arcade game, and despite around 40 years of advancement in gaming technology, is barely any better at all. The minimalist monochrome graphics will (and did) put gamers off, and the ancient ripoff gameplay did absolutely nothing to make up for the deficient graphics. Not every "free" game really is. There's often MTX, or content locked behind DLC, or donations being requested, or any other number of things that could mislead gamers, but in this case I'm glad to say this really does appear to be a fully free game. Nothing demonstrates a developers belief in themselves and their work than giving it away without any remuneration. This is a service to themselves, and the gaming industry, and should be applauded. Of course, just because something is free, doesn't necessarily mean it's valuable. Even though this is "free", it failed to appeal to the 120 million+ gamers on Steam. SteamDB showed the game peaked at only 8 concurrent players... this is a dismal public reception, but it's easy to see why gamers rejected it. I know this is free but come on really.... I get the premise. It could be good but without controller support or at least less sensitive controls this is just pure garbage. The videos make it look like later on it may have some quality but getting there is not for me.
