"Geo-Duck" is one of literally thousands of retro 2D platformers infesting Steam and lowering the average quality of all video games everywhere... and I'm not kidding. Searching for "platformers" on the Steam store page yields over 17,000 results! Is this one of the best of those? Absolutely not. With Geo-Duck, the developers made an impressive attempt to create what could be considered one of the worst games on Steam. Unfortunately, with well over 120,000 games on the platform since Valve's disastrous "Steam Direct" open door policy, the competition for "awful" is extreme. This is a solid entry. The "art" in the game is just pictures stolen off the internet, which the developers choose to describe as "Pythonesque" in an attempt to directly offend all Python fans and insult Terry Gilliam. The gameplay is even worse... but then again, this crapheap was put together with, and I'm serious, don't laugh... Adobe Flash. What a joke. However, we can at least all have a chuckle at the thought someone genuin…
