Explore mysterious ruins and uncover their secrets by mastering the glowing glyphs!
Glyphs of Gitzan is a block-sliding puzzle adventure spanning 50 unique stages of increasing complexity. Take the role of a young explorer and navigate levels in top-down pixel art style, pushing stone pillars across tiled floors to align them with rows of glyphs. Glowing symbols on each pillar hint at the direction its light will emanate. If you can light up all the glyphs with the pillars in each hall, you’ll be able to proceed to the next tricky chamber. Can you unlock all the secrets of Gitzan?

+ ok so first of all, the art style for this game is nice, it captures the vibe of an ancient temple with technology well. - This was kind of apparent in the trailer, but I still hoped otherwise when playing the game. Without any REAL gimmicks (there is one but I will get to that in a second!) the answers to each puzzle was incredibly obvious. I would just line up an L shaped column with the only L shaped grid segment of the map. - This game only has one gimmick, and it is not a good one, the gimmick is that occasionally I needed to power up columns, it doesn't require any mental resilience or thought, it just means I had to spend 30 seconds moving columns. - This leads to my final major gripe, and that is how long it took me to do each puzzle, I had the answers figured out almost immediately on almost every level, but pushing the blocks to the corresponding positions took AGES. It just wasn't fun. This made the game feel like a walking simulator. Note for the dev: Honestly if you want to improve on this game, what you could do is A: make it so the columns are dragged by a cursor and not pushed. (This would however shorten your game greatly!). and B: you can add some actual gim…
A very fun and creative game. It was difficult enough to create a challenge but wasn't frustrating. I would recommend this game!
