Ah yes. A cheerful, hopeful early 20s woman and her mysterious, brooding "friend". Yes, we've all seen the Manic Pixie Dream Girl done to death at this point, so might as well- What's this? You're the Girl this time? Yeah, but that's not exactly- Memory problems? Well, cute quirky clumsiness has often been a way to endear such- Oh, they're so severe she has to rely on notes? I think there was a show like this- The notes have clearly been manipulated by someone? Okay, I give up. You win. This is actually getting really interesting, especially when combined with the aesthetic and the flavour of writing. I'd call this game a deconstruction of the Manic Pixie Dream Girl - but it does more with the concept than just deconstructs it, and I'll leave it at that. It has a very interesting relationship with its dual nature as a cozy game and as a horror game: normally in such games coziness is merely a tool to make the horror hit harder (this adorable character will totally die horribly). This is my first review, and honestly i really recommend this game, its easy to finish in a day or two but its packed with so much and so many endings. and the true ending is so heart wrenching. i also love the artstyle and play mechanics

A great game, it is clear that a lot of effort has been put into creating the art and story. There are clunky sections to the gameplay, but overall it is a fun experience. A hidden little gem, I hope to see more from this developer!

Charming game with a great ending. got stuck on some puzzles [spoiler] four seasons rotating puzzle and lake memory section were stupid. or im low iq [/spoiler] and the pacing is a bit slow in some parts, overall good experience

Cute and wholesome at the beginning and quickly turned 180 degrees. Definitely a great experience for me. Would recommend

Good Morning My Darling starts off in a way that feels almost too normal. I am playing as Mailey, who wakes up and wants to make her morning tea while waiting for her housemate Derthan to come back. The problem is that the tea ingredients have disappeared, things around the house are not where they should be and there are puzzles waiting for me in different rooms. At first it feels like a cute little mystery, but it slowly becomes clear that there is much more going on. The exploration is pretty simple, with me clicking around the house, examining objects, collecting things and trying to figure out what they are useful for. I liked this part because the house is packed with little details and I have to actually pay attention to what I am looking at. The puzzles are varied enough to keep things interesting, although there were a few moments where I had to think quite a bit about what the game wanted from me. Some of the later puzzles are much more satisfying once I finally understand what I am supposed to do. The memory system is where the story gets much more interesting. As I progress through the house, Mailey starts remembering things from her past, and I can enter a separate m…
