The main issue with this game is that the objective, making videos, isn't fun or engaging. Even looking at basic ♥♥♥♥ like Super Mario Bros, running, jumping and getting through levels is challenging, and tests a player's skill. The feeling of success after conquering a challenge like that, or the hilarity of failure, is where the joy comes from. Even then, games like the Stanley Parable proves that games don't have to be a challenge to be fun, that fun can come from witty dialogue or the beauty of superficial elements such as sound. This game has none of these qualities. The main gameplay loop of creating videos can be described as clicking a button, typing something mildly funny to yourself, then clicking another button, waiting an arbitrary amount of time, and finally getting money from your videos. Games like Paper's Please proves that such a gameplay loop can be engaging with the right amount of challenge and pressure, and arguably this game does have that with the constant need for cashflow to refill your meters. However, the meters drain so slowly that refilling them is more a chore than pressure, in addition with practically no story making any investment in the task dead…

I regret buying this game. I think I bought Gordon Streaman 2 on some random 90% sale just to check it out, and I really wish I didn't. The game is buggy, the game loop boring and repetetive, and everything is just a massive grind with no reward in the end. I recently started playing through all of the games in my Steam Library and try to 100% the achivements, which meant that I had to play this again. One of the achivements is to get 100K subs, and the only way to get subs is to upload videos. Uploading 1 video takes 10 seconds, and give you about 200 subs. I had to sit for an hour and just click upload, wait, click, wait. Whenever Gordon got too hungry to upload I had to go to the kitchen to eat, and that usually resulted in my camera wildly spinning about for some reason, making it difficult to get back to the computer and resume my endless clicking. I really, really wish that I had never spent my 0.4€ buying this game, as then I wouldn't have to spend hours just mindlessly doing the same task over and over. I did not have fun playing this game, not for a second. This game isn't even worth picking up if it is free, and for a WHOPPING 10€??? Absolutely not. Save yo…
